CPU extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Japhet Gensaya-Fernandez de Leon, Dr. Rumalie Alparaque-Corvera, and Dr. Mae Concepcion Jarencio-Dolendo for being recognized as 2025 Distinguished Alumni by the West Visayas State University College of Medicine. Central Philippine University proudly congratulates three of its alumni for being recognized during the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Recognition Ceremony of the West Visayas State University College of Medicine (WVSU-COM), held on the afternoon of July 10 at the College Auditorium.

Recognized for their unwavering dedication to healthcare and public service, Dr. Japhet Gensaya-Fernandez de Leon (CPU HS 1975) and Dr. Rumalie Alparaque-Corvera (CPU HS 1986) were awarded under the Community Service category. Both have championed accessible healthcare and outreach initiatives that continue to impact countless lives.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mae Concepcion Jarencio-Dolendo (CPU High School 1982) received recognition under the Clinical Practice category for her dedicated service in the medical field and her contributions to healthcare.

Their service reflects the enduring values of social responsibility and compassion nurtured during their formative years at CPU.
