CPU community congratulates Centralian Congressman Ferj Biron on his election as Deputy Speaker of the 20th Congress. We are so proud of you!

Central Philippine University proudly congratulates Congressman Ferjenel “Ferj” Biron, a distinguished alumnus of CPU Elementary Class of 1977 and CPU High School Class of 1981, for his recent election as one of the Deputy Speakers of the 20th Congress of the Philippines.

The 20th Congress opened its first regular session on Monday morning, July 28, with the House of Representatives convening at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City and the Senate in Pasay City. During the session, the House elected Rep. David “Jay-Jay” Suarez as Senior Deputy Speaker and appointed nine lawmakers as Deputy Speakers. These include Rep. Janette Garin, Rep. Yasser Balindong, Rep. Paolo Ortega V, Rep. Jefferson Khonghun, Rep. Kristine Singson-Meehan, Rep. Ronaldo Puno, Rep. Faustino Dy V, Rep. Ferjenel Biron, and Rep. Raymond Democrito Mendoza.

Centralian Congressman Ferjenel “Ferj” Biron’s election as Deputy Speaker is a moment of pride for the CPU community, reflecting the university’s mission to cultivate competent, committed, and Christ-centered leaders.
