UP Diliman ROTC Unit Corps Commander CCOL Fergie John O. Frange 1CL was recently named the Philippine Army Cadet Officer of the Year 2022. The prestigious award was presented to him during the 126th Philippine Army Founding Anniversary Celebration held at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on March 22, 2023.
CCOL Frange’s exceptional leadership skills, dedication, and commitment to service were recognized by the Philippine Army. As Corps Commander of the UP Diliman ROTC Unit, he has shown exemplary performance in guiding his fellow cadets in their training and development.
Frange graduated as Valedictorian of CPU Elementary School in 2013 and was awarded the Top 10 Outstanding Student Circle of Iloilo in the same year. He also served as the CPU Junior Republic President during the school year 2012-2013 and was the editor of Junior Echo, the elementary school publication.
His parents, Nerisa Otero and Fergienel Frange, are both Centralians. His mother, Nerisa, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, while his father, Fergienel, is a CPU High School alumni.
The CPU community congratulates CCOL Frange on this well-deserved recognition. His dedication to service and leadership is a source of inspiration and motivation for all cadets to strive for excellence in their training and future careers.
