Christian Martinez- Official Philippine delegate for ASEAN Youth Engagement Summit 2021.

A multi-talented CPU graduate and teacher, Christian Manansala Martinez was chosen as the Official Philippine Delegate for ASEAN Youth Engagement Summit 2021.

Martinez graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Education, Major in Physical Education (2021) from Central Philippine University. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education – Major in Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health (MAPEH) (2018) from Capiz State University, Roxas City where he was awarded as Outstanding MAPEH Student Intern, Best Demonstrator in MAPEH and Best Portfolio Presenter; MAPEH President and Top 1 Outstanding Leader of Capiz State University.

He finished his secondary education at Mabini National High School (Class Valedictorian as One of the Ten Outstanding Students of Capiz in 2013 and his Elementary Education at Don Manuel Arnaldo Memorial School, Capiz – with a First Honorable Mention Award.
Martinez is currently a full-time Head of the MAPEH Department and Junior High School Coordinator at the CHILD’S Academy, Inc., Pueblo de Panay, Lawa-an, Roxas City, and a part-time faculty at the Health and P.E. Department, CPU College of Education.

Martinez is a member of the Philippine Folk Dance Society of Capiz, the Philippine Association for Teacher Education-Region 6, and the International Association of Physical Education and Sports. He is a Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) lecturer in Roxas City. He authored several books in Physical Education for High School students.

He was a self-supporting student who consistently worked to achieve and succeed. His life’s philosophy is — “Life is a matter of choice; success is a choice. We must have Perseverance, Faith, and Humility in order to succeed.”

Janeth Tacurda Castillo and Diosdado Bechayda Eduardo are parents of Christian Manansala Martinez.
