Central Philippine University congratulates Hon. Atty. Suzette A. Mamon, a proud Centralian, on her election as President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines-Iloilo Chapter. CPU is so proud of you!
On August 30, 2025, Badiangan Mayor and LMP-Iloilo Chapter President Hon. Suzette A. Mamon is elected unopposed as the new President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) – Iloilo Chapter. The election, held at Hotel Del Rio, is attended by 34 of the province’s 43 municipal mayors.
A proud Centralian, Hon. Atty. Suzette A. Mamon graduated from the CPU Development High School (CPUDHS) in 1983 and earned her AB Political Science degree as Magna Cum Laude in 1986. During her stay at CPU, she actively immersed herself in student leadership and service, notably serving the CPU Republic as a Representative.
Her formative years at CPU shaped her passion for leadership and community service, preparing her for greater responsibilities in the public sphere. She later served as a faculty member of the CPU College of Law and the CPU College of Arts and Sciences.
Her election brings pride and honor to the Centralian community, exemplifying the core values of faith, character, justice, stewardship, and excellence. The University celebrates her achievement and extends its prayers for her continued success in public service.
