The CPU Staff Retirees (STARs) gathered for their quarterly meeting and birthday celebration on August 31, 2024, at Chicken Sari-Sari in Jaro, Iloilo. The event was marked by camaraderie, laughter, and delicious food.

The gathering commenced with a brief meditation led by Rev. Roger Quimpo, setting a peaceful and reflective tone for the day. Following the meditation, the STARs engaged in fellowship activities and simple games, fostering stronger bonds among members.

After a hearty lunch, the group transitioned to a business meeting to discuss updates and future plans. The CPU STARs also celebrated the birthdays of their members, making the occasion even more special.

Ms. Trinidad T. Sorongon, President of CPU STARs, shared the details of the gathering. “We have already completed our quarterly meeting and celebrated the birthdays of our members. The January to March celebrators decided on the date and month and sponsored the food, and the same goes for April to June. The July to September group chose to celebrate on August 31st,” she explained.
