CCS students together with PESO personnel in their project proposal of Web-Based Job Matching System.

On February 24, 2026, a group of third-year students from the College of Computer Studies (CCS) presented their Web-Based Job Matching System proposal to PESO, Iloilo City, a digital initiative that aims to benefit both employers and jobseekers alike.

The proposed system includes features such as user registration and a smart job matching function, which ease the employment process to make it more organized and accessible. With the oversaturation and high demand of the workforce today, this proposal is a way to make the employment and job-seeking process much less stressful.

With this platform, people searching for jobs can easily create profiles and discover career opportunities that perfectly match their skillsets. This benefits employers as it will filter and find the best candidates for their workplaces. The goal is to open more job opportunities for everyone.

Technology has been a core part of modern society, and this project led by the students here at CPU shows that we can use it to our advantage. Students are full of creativity and innovation, and they are here to present the future of public service. With the digitalization of job searching and employment, CCS students are committed to developing solutions in this fast-paced world.
