College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) students Allester John Gallarda, Jimuel Dalipe, and Kianne Francine Duspar represented Region VI in the first virtual National Debate Competition during the Constitutional Reform Youth Summit on October 15, 2020.
Gallarda was declared Best speaker in their match against Region 7.
Gallarda, Duspar, and Dalipe are also members of the College of Arts and Sciences Debating team that placed fourth in last year’s U-Day Debate Competition.
The Constitutional Reform (CORE) Summit is one of the programs spearheaded by the Department of Local and Interior government in its campaign to approve amendments to the 1987 Constitution.
