BECED Gems volunteers, CPU Kindergarten teachers, and organizers pose for a commemorative photo after the Interest Group Culminating Activity.
On February 28, 2026, CPU Kindergarten held its Interest Group Culminating Activity with the theme “Light Up and Shine” at the Activity Center of Robinsons Place Pavia.
The said event showcased the talents and learning experiences of the kindergarten pupils as they performed and presented the outcomes of their interest group activities. During the program, the BECED Gems served as volunteers, providing essential support in managing the flow of the performances.
The students assisted the interest group advisers in organizing the children before each presentation, helping line up the performers, guiding them safely as they went up and down the stage, and ensuring that the young learners were properly supervised throughout the event. Their presence helped maintain order backstage and ensured the smooth movement of participants during the program.
Through their volunteer work, the BECED Gems demonstrated responsibility, attentiveness, and genuine care for the safety and well-being of the children. Their assistance allowed the teachers and organizers to focus on the program itself while ensuring that the learners were properly guided and protected within the venue.
The activity supports several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education by supporting meaningful learning experiences and performance opportunities for young learners. It also promotes SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being by prioritizing the safety and proper supervision of children during the event. In addition, the collaboration between the BECED Gems and CPU Kindergarten reflects SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, highlighting how cooperative efforts help create successful and child-centered school activities.
