Featuring the Artworks of CPU Kindergarten Learners – Last November 17, 2025, the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) Gems opened the exhibit, A Gallery of Children’s Rights, at the Henry Luce III Library for this year’s Children’s Month celebration. The exhibit featured artworks by CPU Kindergarten learners highlighting the 12 Rights of Children.
The children’s God-given talents were displayed in their paintings under the Visual Arts Interest Group of the CPU Kindergarten. The program was opened by the BECEd Program Head, Prof. Maristel D. Decio, and the reason for the celebration was given by the CPU Kindergarten Principal, Prof. Praise E. Glory. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy. Learners, faculty, staff, parents, and guardians from the CPU Kindergarten department were also present during the opening ceremony. The exhibit would not have been possible without the help of the CPU CENVAS organization, which provided the structure for the display, and the CPU TV Channel, which provided a live broadcast of the program. The children’s artworks were displayed from November 17 to November 28.

The CPU BECEd Gems continues to uphold the right of every child through their annual celebration of Children’s Month and through numerous advocacies that empower children. The organization is working closely with CPU Kindergarten, supporting CPU’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Gallery of Children’s Rights Exhibit aligns meaningfully with several SDGs, particularly SDGs 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, and 16 – Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Reduced Inequalities, and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, respectively.
