Fifty-four (54) students from the Central Philippine University-College of Law (CPU-COL) took their oath as Law Student Practitioners (LSPs) on June 23, 2025, held at the Ramon Q. Avanceña Hall of Justice. The oath-taking was presided over by RTC Executive Judge Rose Edith Togonon.

As Law Student Practitioners (LSPs), they will actively provide legal services through the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), pursuant to the Revised Student Practice Rule (A.M. No. 19-03-24-SC), under Rule 138-A, of the Rules of Court. Their duties include participation in the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) externship, legal aid clinic responsibilities, and outreach lecture activities aimed at educating and assisting the community.

A significant part of their upcoming work will involve contributing to “alaLAYI: Pag-ubay Legal sa Kabataan,” a legal-awareness initiative officially launched on April 8, 2025.
