The CPU College of Agriculture Alumni Association planted 1,130 Batuan seedlings
at Camp Higher Ground, Barotac Viejo on May 10, 2021.
The alumni association led by Dr. Bernabe Cocjin and Mr. Timmy Arandela planted the seedlings together with Pastor Marlon Brasileño.
The Camp Higher Ground is a 54-hectare campsite of the Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches (CPBC) in Barotac Viejo. Founded by American Baptist missionaries, Central Philippine University is a member institution of the Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches (CPBC).
Last year, CPU has turned over banana trees, and the College of Agriculture, Resources, and Environmental Sciences Dean Dr. Jaime Cabarles donated 170 heads of native chicken and 30 sacks of feeds for the income-generating project of the CPBC at Camp Higher Ground, Barotac Viejo.
