With the pandemic brought by Covid-19, CPU has embraced the “new normal” and used online Learning Management Systems like Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, and others in delivering online classes. Aside from this, the CPU Administration through Vice President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Florence P. Bogacia, explored cashless payment solutions online and in-campus in order to provide students and parents a safer and more convenient way to pay for tuition and fees.
Starting on August 3, 2020, CPU will adopt the Paymaya’s end-to-end digital payment solutions such as the Paymaya’s Online payment gateway. This will be integrated into the Student Online Services (SOS) of CPU at http://my.cpu.edu.ph .
The One by Paymaya Point of Sale (POS) device will also be used by CPU cashiers in scanning the QR Code.
CPU is encouraging students to download PayMaya in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in order to use it during the online enrolment. The payment will be in real-time, unlike other payment options. So far CPU is the first university in Iloilo to use the services of PayMaya.
