Stories of Some Sowers

As a family and as CPU alumni, we have continously supported the endowment and other scholarship/ spiritual outreach programs of the University. It is at Central where I and many other family members accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Christian education that we have received in this University has blessed us not only with successful professional careers but most importantly, has allowed us to experience His abiding presence in our lives. Consequently, our deep love and appreciation to our Alma Mater continue to motivate us to share and give back to CPU, our time, talent, and treasures, hoping to touch lives and make a positive impact on the University and the country as a whole.

From the family of:
LEJO C BRAŅA, Scd, CPP-Fellow. InstPkg Houston, Texas, USA & Miramar Subd., Dungon, Jaro, Iloilo City, Phils.

In the early 1990's, we the Bermejo sisters, Dorothy, Gena, Arlene and Phoebe decided to honor our parents, Genaro and Evelina Bermejo with a Scholarship Endowment Fund as well as a Professional Chair Fund at CPU. Since then many deserving students were able to finish college through this Scholarship project. Also several CPU Faculty members have been awarded the Professional Chair which provides additional financial support.

We believe this is a worthy and rewarding project to share with our Alma Mater not only to honor our parents but a way of a pay back for what we have gained as alumni imbued with the Central Spirit.
